It’s not just mental health, it’s physical health…

The weather has been some what up and down, just like a mood.

I’ve purchased a few boxes of kleenex and they have the most loveliest little gems to make you feel oooo and make you say ahhhhh.

Daily we all become face to face with something or other to gently prod at our last nerve, if we have any nerves left at all!

I promised to love myself & take time for me….But isn’t so hard to take time for ‘me’?

So gently does it, baby steps I am starting with my mind, taking time to read, enjoy and reflect.

Stay committed to my commitment.

What’s next….How will I soothe my body back to being me?Happy, cool & Bendy.

Wolf Moon…

Hello, Blessings, Health & Prosperity to one & all.
How are you on this fine, Full Moon Evening? The first full moon of 2022, is the ‘Wolf Moon’, named after the cold nights of January, when packs of wolves gathered & howled under the full moon.

I don’t know about you but I am taking this time, to embrace my ‘feels’ to own & answer, the calling to love me unconditionally. Open my heart to what I desire, makes my soul sing. Its simple, doing what I like & love.

We are 17 days into, 2022 & the energy to open up to self love, reflection, release, come together as a community has intensified by the arrival of the full moon in Cancer.

I am clearing & de-cluttering physically & emotionally..making room for what I am unsure, unclear of….ending, new beginning, release, reset.

I am sure it’s a future of happiness, freedom, Health & Prosperity as I feel daily to give thanks for my blessings & gratitude to all things Bright & Beautiful…even though there are moments of ‘kymbaya’.

“It’s OK, to Feel the feels”

I was listening to an interview, a while ago, where a famous actress said…“Its Ok, to feel the feels”.   I ran the sentence, back through my mind, “It’s OK, to feel, the feels….it’s OK, to feel, the feels….it’s OK, to feel the feels”.

I often retrace, words, quotes, through my mind, to introduce it, as a mantra.  Then for me, my monkey mind, plays a game where it….tries to hear, say it & move on, & my subconscious mind, says ‘ hold up, wait a minute…What did you just feel, when you said that? Just in these few seconds, the feeling can be whisked away, into reaction. And then stress, anxiety negativity begins.

But if you take, the feeling, be in the feeling…It will give you the opportunity to rest in the moment, be present with the feeling to act, rather than react.

It’s a new year, a new day…it’s OK to feel, the feels.

99 to go…

Yoga Sara, Thursday’s 7:45pm-9:15pm. 

It’s not long now, before the festive season begins. Then it’s tick, tok, the clock strikes & its a new year!

I had an email sent to me today, that started with the sentence “There are 99 meals left, before Christmas day”

99 meals!

33 breakfasts, 33 lunches & 33 dinners.

I don’t know about you, but there are enough days there for you to break a habit, reflect, create new, leave behind.  Build a strong Kundalini practice, Meditation, Mantra, Breath Awareness, anything need.

Start with, Thursdays 7:45pm-9:15pm Kundalini Yoga at Yogasara Bristol.

Let’s work together, making changes to see changes….

Starting with you….yes you! Take a deep breath… It’s OK, to feel, the feels, & love on yourself.

Gratitude

What does ‘Gratitude’ mean to you?

Gratitude, the dictionary says the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness.

‘A quality of being thankful’ I have been recognising more, how I mark the things I am thankful for, express my gratitude deeply.

As I return, timely, daily…Attitude of gratitude.

My life becomes sweeter…in the smallest way, an unexpected blessing will come my way, as I acknowledge, tiny, small or great…I am feeling, great & full, grateful, thankful. I am indeed showing appreciation …returning kindness, gratitude.

In Kundalini Yoga, it is said, ‘Attitude of Gratitude’. What does this mean?

It is really, something when you begin to see, see through the words, understand the words. Attitude of Gratitude.

Because it quite simply means, the opposite to Great & Full, but Un-Great & Full, further more it really is an ‘Attitude’, that you either have or you haven’t.

So how do you know? Are you ‘ Great & Full, have the Attitude of Gratitude, or are you Un-Great & Full....as your attitude is to look at the receiving, look at the offer…We all have a slice of cake, but why is her slice bigger? why does he have two slices?

Then the server, says are you all enjoying the cake, please help yourself to cake?

The Un-Great, walks up & takes not 1, not 2, not 3, but 5 slices, including 1, makes 6! If you were to ask the Un-Great, why they have 6? They would reply because the server said, ‘help yourself’. If you were to ask the Un-Great, for a slice, the Un-Great would point to the table with the cakes on, no intention to share, no intention to converse how nice the cake is, how nice to be given cake….An Attitude of Gratitude.

A quality of being thankful, do you have Quality…in your thank you?
